A hotel in Slough has kicked off the first stage of its rebranding, with the launch of a new tea room.
The transformation of Burnham Beeches Hotel to become part of the Laura Ashley Hotels portfolio has begun as a new branded tea room opens at the property.
Following the success of the first Laura Ashley The Tea Room in Solihull, the opening of Laura Ashley The Tea Room at Burnham Beeches Hotel will mark the second of its kind and the first in the south of England.
The rest of the facilities at the 82-bedroom hotel will be refurbished in line with Laura Ashley brand standards in spring 2019. The property will be redesigned to showcase the Laura Ashley Home range with British fabrics and furnishings throughout.
Alex Robertson, general manager of Burnham Beeches Hotel, said: “We are delighted to launch Laura Ashley The Tea Room at Burnham Beeches Hotel. It has been very exciting to see the project come to fruition after some extensive design work and implementation with quality workmanship and we are looking forward to welcoming guests to a whole new experience at Burnham Beeches Hotel.”
Burnham Beeches Hotel is owned by Corus Hotels and is one of 11 properties across the UK and Malaysia. The company returned to the black in its latest financial results, with pre-tax profit of £1.7m on a turnover of £27.8m in the year to 30 June 2017.
Corus Hotels’ other Laura Ashley branded hotels are The Belsfield in Eindermere, and The Manor Elstree.
